| my parents each got a facebook account yesterday.
this is my dad in one of his emails:
Jenny:
You wrote on my Facebook that "daddy, it is so weird....". What do you mean actually? Please explain.
Suddenly, I have so many new "friends" on my Facebook. I really don't know how to handle it.
Also, what does it mean by "poke"?
Daddy
and my mom put Tajikistan as her hometown..

| these days i find myself walking around smiling...it's kind of hard not to when you hear about the things that i hear.
today in class, one of my students was wearing a huge glove on his left hand. i thought he had some kind of rash going on so i asked him whether if his hand was okay. but he said no...and said that he wore it to remind himself of something he had to do. at that point he paused and scratched his head with his glove and said, "hmm..i forgot what i had to do." i think he wore his glove all day today without knowing why.
i used to do that. not gloves. just make pen marks on my hand and i was usually pretty good about remembering what each mark stood for.
i thank God for kids who would wear big gloves to remind themselves to do something and then forget.

| whoah..i almost let a whole year slip by without updating. been a little too self-adsorbed these days. i would get out and smell the flowers, but i have allergies. and flowers generally don't smell like anything, i've discovered. so maybe i should find something else to do like learn how to rock climb or learn about politics so i can be a responsible US citizen. *sigh* i like sighing. it feels so good. |
